Indefinite Detention Bill

The unconstitutional "Indefinite Detention Bill," U.S. Senate Bill #1867 of the National Defense Authorization Act, NDAA, passed by a wide margin. Knowing about it is important to your and the world's survival of the coming deflation and Greater Depression. The misguided legislation is a violation of the 5th, 6th and 14th Amendments of the U.S. Constitution's Bill of Rights - to name a few.

The head of the ACLU's legislative office said that if Obama signs the atrocius measure it would damage "both his legacy and American's reputation for upholding the rule of law." and remarked that "the last time Congress passed indefinite detention legislation was during the McCarthy era."

Others used words like: complete political cave-in, fumbling presidency, difficult to shut down the prison at Guantanamo now, enshrining indefinite detention without trial into US law and Amnesty International said "Al Qaeda can claim comfort knowing that we are chasing out tails and eroding our values."

The issue of indefinite military detention of U.S. Citizens has become a hot subject - especially since Occupy Wall Street demonstrations sprouted up all over the country causing municipalities to spend money they can't afford for police presence.

The amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act was crafted by John McCain, who should know better, Senator Levine and Dick Cheney (whom I thought was no longer a government official) and was rushed through with little debate and no coverage by the main stream media.

The unconstitutional Indefinite Detention Bill was passed in the Senate on a 86 to 13 vote and previously the vote in the House of Representatives was 283 for and a 136 against. Remarkably, the date of the Senate vote was 12/16/2011, exactly 220 years to the date after the Bill of Rights was first ratified. The National Defense Authorization Act, NDAA - FY2012 (Senate Bill #1867), will allow the indefinite detention and torture of Americans. The controversial bill means you will have no rights to a lawyer, a judge or courts.

Obama has extended the Patriot Act which allowed warrentless wiretapping without a judge order, waged war on whistleblowers, sent over a thousand drone missles to kill combatents in Pakistan, killend American citizens without charge, used state secrets privlage when he swore he would be "transparent" and ramped up three trillion dollars worth of funding for Homeland Security dictatorial Nazi like controls and another trillion on the wars. Now we get this total usurpation of human rights - all of which would make our founding fathers roll over in their grave. Obama is an outright liar, especially in his pledge to be vigilant about civil liberties.

The National Defense Authorization Act is an unconstitutional violation of the Fifth Amendment (among others) which is part of the Bill of Rights. Text of the Fifth Amendment:

“No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.”

The 5th Amendment is about the our right to remain silent in the face of government questioning (pleading the 5th), along with double jeopardy (being tried twice for the same offense), self incrimination, right to due process and eminent domain. Eminent domain says government cannot take your property, especially real estate, without fairly compensating you. The National Defense Authorization Act is also an unconstitutional violation of the Sixth Amendment to the United States Constitution - again part of the Bill of Rights!

The Sixth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution affords defendants seven discrete personal liberties: (1) the right to a Speedy Trial; (2) the right to a public trial; (3) the right to an impartial jury; (4) the right to be informed of pending charges; (5) the right to confront and to cross-examine adverse witnesses; (6) the right to compel favorable witnesses to testify at trial through the subpoena power of the judiciary; and (7) the right to legal counsel - It was ratified in 1791.

The first part of the Fourteenth Amendment had to do with civil rights. Section one says: Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

The USA Patriot Act first voted into existence by both houses after the 9-11 attack on the World Trade Center buildings just got extended here in 2011 by a wide majority. It violates the habeas corpus (have to have the body, or proof) part of the US Constitution. Plus it violated the first, fourth, fifth, sixth, eighth, ninth, tenth and Fourteenth Amendments all part of our Bill of Rights. A serious loss of freedoms and liberty!

That fact both the Republicans (lose your freedom slowly) and the Democrats (lose you freedom fast) voted for the unholy "Indefinite Detention Bill" the "National Defense Authorization Act" and the Patriot Act just proves both American political parties are card carrying members of the Anglo American power elite - a global governance bunch of 1,100 plus mega rich international familes who want to rule over us in an Orwellian "Big Brother" nightmare right out of George Orwell's futuristic book "1984."

The power elite apparently own all the 110 or so world central banks along with all the mainstream press and can and do create money out of thin air (fiat money) for their own account. They have used "directed history" for the last 100 plus years to slowly take over most governments, including the United States, under the cover of smokescreens like war, the global warming myth, pandemic disease scares, islamic jihadist unrest and finally the Greater Depression that may be the nail in the coffin for our freedoms. You know - the bastardized golden rule - "He who has the gold rules." They actually help create problems and then offer bigger global government as the solution.

There go more of our Constitutional rights usurped by the powers-that-be control freaks. In this case, our elected representatives - who think they know what is right for everyone - they didn't even listen to their constituents or think this through. It's totally Nazi! If you demonstrate or protest anymore (Occupy Wall Street listen up!) you could go to prison. Do not pass go. Do not collect two hundred dollars. Go directly to jail. Hitler would be proud.

Obama signed the wicked totalitarian Indefinite Detention Bill. President Obama, a Marxist morphing into a Nazi fascist, has finally brought about change to America, but it is unfortunately totalitarian as the evidence is incontrovertible that he is part of the one world government collectivist conspiracy who want to be furers, emperors, kings, lords and pharaohs and then make all the rest of us slaves (and now prisoners in gulag style work camps making car license plates).

Speaking before the Senate this afternoon, Sen. Lindsey Graham (Republican from South Carolina) told colleagues, “I hope you believe America is part of the battlefield.” The United States is at war, he insisted, and anyone alleged to be in opposition to the US government’s game will now be subjected to military-style detention indefinitely along with water boarding, mind control and other extreme torture.

It's just a matter of hiring the guards for the FEMA tent camp prisons now. They are already built, by the way. Former Michigan Governor Jesse Ventura has found a bunch of them - including a big one near Denver, Colorado.

Occupy Wall Street enjoy your month old bologna and two month old bread with no mayonnaise. All OWS did is scare the middle class into giving in to martial law and into the total loss of our freedom and liberty. OWS you are co-opted by the elite. OWS your FEMA tent prison is ready for you. Don't bother calling your lawyer.

Jack booted mercenary guards who may be your son, daughter, brother, relative or neighbor will be working for the Anglo American power elite who want global governance. INDEFINITE DETENTION BILL PASSES

Well, things are happening fast and furious now, and I'm not talking about Eric Holder. I'm talking about Senate Bill 1867, the "Indefinite Detention Bill", passed by the Senate just recently. There are now no longer any pretenses about Constitutional rights for Americans. Those that falsely believe they are free will soon be getting educated otherwise.

As most of you have probably heard, SB 1867 puts the U.S. military in charge of the "battlefield" that is the United States, and gives them the right to round up any "terrorists", which includes U.S. citizens, and to detain them indefinitely, without charge. The presumption of innocence has changed to a presumption of guilt, and you may never get the ability to have your story heard. According to normally state-friendly, Wired.com, "So despite the Sixth Amendment's guarantee of a right to trial, the Senate bill would let the government lock up any citizen it swears is a terrorist, without the burden of proving its case to an independent judge, and for the lifespan of an amorphous war that conceivably will never end. And because the Senate is using the bill that authorizes funding for the military as its vehicle for this dramatic constitutional claim, it's pretty likely to pass."

Although Obama has claimed that he will veto the bill, the bill passed the Senate by an astounding 93-7 vote indicating that a veto override may be a mere formality. The bill must also be resolved with a similar bill passed in the House (H.R. 1540), but given the wide margin of passage in the Senate across both parties, again, there's very little hope that the House will water down the details.

As Greg Hunter, of USAwatchdog.com poses, "My other big concern is if 93 Senators from both parties voted for this unconstitutional legislation, what do these folks see coming? What future scenario do they all see? Billionaire investor George Soros is not looking at a rosy future from his vantage point. He see's global financial calamity coming. He recently said, "The global financial system is in a "self-reinforcing process of disintegration. . . .The consequences could be quite disastrous."

Now right on the heels of SB 1867, Halliburton subsidiary KBR has issued a request for bids to staff the FEMA camps in each state around the country that it helped construct. (The leaked KBR document can be found here.) These detention camps, whose purpose has always been controversial, but whose existence was never denied, now look to be getting fully staffed for widespread use sometime in 2012. The question is for who? And for what?

Although the KBR document indicates this is a "CONTINGENCY PROJECT", and we don't know what the contingency is, the speed at which they are moving to ramp up the project even before the Indefinite Detention Bill becomes law leads me to believe they know more about what's coming than they are letting on.

And now, in addition to the KBR proposal, we have the National Guard producing a slick recruitment video for FEMA camp staffers under the title "Military Occupational Specialty: Internment Resettlement Specialist". (The video can be found here.)

These staffers are "Combat support soldiers, trained to fight..." So much for Posse Comitatus, I guess. I particularly like where the job description includes "ensuring the humane treatment of detainees, and to assist them in returning to a productive life." I get all warm and fuzzy just thinking about how U.S. citizen-terrorists by the thousands will be rounded up and rehabilitated to proper ways of thinking and released back to be with the happy productive people of society. I bet the Nazi's thought it would pretty much go that way as well. And if the detainees don't come around so quickly, well, what's a poor gun-toting psychopath to do?

What does it all mean? I don't know, but a wicked wind this way blows. Jeff Berwick has stated, "we don't need a piece of paper (e.g., the Constitution) to know that we're free" (which is good, because the Constitution is irrelevant). But, if you are still living in the U.S. (and how far behind is Canada?), and your government has the legal authority to lock up whoever doesn't agree with it, indefinitely, without charge, what exactly are you? I could name a lot of things before "free". Naïve, potentially.

The good news is that the pretenses have been dropped, and anyone halfway paying attention should now know what they are up against, and should be thinking about a reasonable course of action. Like Janis Joplin says, "Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose." Do you have anything left to lose?
